Luxe Amélie Tote

Amazing quality, classic style that will never got out of style! Love the size, color and everything about it!

I bought the Luxe Amélie Tote bag and I couldn't be happier. It is visibly a bag of superior quality and the color and texture of the bag are absolutely beautiful. The shipper was seamless and quick.

This bag is SO pretty…but it wasn’t really what I expected. While I understand color of leather does change, I was a little disappointed that the bag didn’t match any of my other luxe items. The color was much more red and the feel was also different. My other luxe items are more smooth where this bag has more texture. It’s still a beautiful bag with wonderful organization, but I don’t find myself reaching for it as often as I though I would. Leather is definitely heavier so that’s a factor. Also, the large strap kind of bothers me as well. I wish it was detachable. I may have it altered. LOVE the grab handles!!!

Ok, I love this bag, but the one thing that bothers me about it is the strap. I wish it was detachable with d rings on the inside instead of stitched in place to the outside. It would’ve awesome if it had a back pack option too, but detachable strap in general would make it perfect. I personally miss the light light pink lining the bags used to have please bring that back ( in luxe too)!

I’m too tall to use the Amelie as a crossbody (5’10”) & couldn't find an extension for it, but I adore the bag and wanted to use it. I don’t like shoulder bags at all, mostly because they hurt my back and slip off constantly, especially when I’m shopping with my baby. BUT, I got these “purse gummy” strips on Amazon and the bag actually stays up. **If it’s not removed properly, then it could peel off the full grain leather, so be cautious.** I really wanted to be able to use the bag though and now I can. I use it every day as a shoulder bag. I haven’t used a shoulder bag in years! Love the sturdiness and size too. It’s perfect for every day and I love that it doesn’t cave in on itself or look sloppy with nicer outfits. The vintage cognac is such a beautiful rich color too and after 3 weeks it’s already softening up nicely. Anyways, these strips made all the difference for keeping it on my shoulder so I can use it. Very, very happy now! I attached a photo of what all I put in there when I go out with my 8 month old. I could fit an iPad and maybe some other things, but I don’t like stuffing bags to the max if I can help it, so I use bigger bags obviously for longer outings.

The bag is a great size, pockets are great and the leather is nice (a little stiff). However the issue is the zipper. It’s not smooth and if you open it all the way it’s super hard to close because it catches on the end of the zipper bc there is too much slack. I think a higher quality smooth gliding zipper and a redesign to address the slack can make this bag a winner

I wish it were a littler bigger and had a hook on strap and more too From shoulder to hang time. I do love the leather smell
